Washing machine isn't filling with enough water...

Error codes you might see when a washing machine isn't receiving enough water are 4C, 4E, NF, or 14C, depending on the model. The first thing to do is check out the water supply by removing the water lines from the back of the water and checking the filter screens for clogs. Remove and clean them if so! Kinked hoses can also cause water supply issues, so smooth out any sharp bends. 4C2 errors can indicate switched hot and cold lines, so in the case of this error, simply reverse them. Check for the correct connection to the wall faucets as well, and ensure that the washer's drain hose is positioned at least six inches into the home drainage system and not airtight. For top load washers not showing a code, just use the Deep Wash or Deep Fill cycles to add water.
