Soundbar HDMI Connections

There are a few ways to set up your soundbar with HDMI. To free up a port on your TV, you can use the Audio Return Channel (ARC) port. Only ports on your TV and soundbar labeled with ARC or eARC can be used for this purpose. You can connect external devices to the sound bar to pass video through to your soundbar. You can select between these sources using the source button on the soundbar or remote. On the TV, any other HDMI input slots can be used for additional devices if needed. With all devices powered off, connect an HDMI cable between the ARC-enabled HDMI port on the TV or One Connect Box to the ARC-enabled port on the soundbar. Connect another HDMI cable between the other HDMI port and your external device. Now power on all devices, select the appropriate source on your soundbar, and enjoy crystal-clear HDMI sound. On the TV, make sure that the HDMI ARC mode is set to Auto. This option is found in All Settings, then Sound, and inside Expert Settings.
