How to reset your Galaxy device

1:24

Whenever your Samsung Galaxy phone needs a clean slate, reset it using Factory data reset! First, save any personal information and decrypt any encrypted microSD cards so there are no recovery issues. To do this, go to Settings, and then tap Accounts and backup. You can then back up data to Samsung Cloud. After you’ve saved your data, go to General management, and tap Reset. Now select Factory data reset. Review the information and apps that will be erased, and then tap Reset. If there is a security lock set on the device, you’ll need to enter your credentials. Finally, tap Delete all to wipe the information. Your device will now reset and boot back up to the initial setup screen! https://youtu.be/l8h3-0TeIJI
