How to install your range

3:29

Installing your Samsung range might seem like a big job, but you can knock it out by following these steps. The first thing you should do is double check the length, width, and height measurements to make sure it’s going to fit. Once you know it will fit, check the wall outlet you’re going to use to see whether it’s a 3 or 4-prong outlet. You’ll need to contact a professional installer or electrician to attach the power cord, and let them know which type of outlet you have. If needed, the pro will also be able to install the conduit to protect wiring and replace the access panel. Once that’s taken care of, attach the anti-tip bracket to the wall, which secures the range and reduces injury risk. Next, slide the range into place, and carefully tip it forward to make sure the bracket works. All that’s left is to level the range, and if your new range is gas, then install the burner heads and burner caps. You got this!
