Text on your Galaxy Watch with the Messages app

There are several ways to send and respond to messages from your new Galaxy Watch’s Messages app. You can send an emoji, use a provided quick response, record an audio message, scribble a note, type on the keyboard, and more. Tap on the compose a message icon to start a new thread. If you already have a message exchange going, tap on it to send a new message, or to reply to an existing one. Be aware that to use Messages on your watch, it needs to be your default texting app on your connected phone. For those with a Watch4 or Watch5, you can install and use Android Messages on your watch if that is the default messaging app on your phone.
