Installing your 55” Q80D Samsung TV stand

Now that your new Samsung TV has arrived, let’s install your stand so you can kick back and enjoy your upgraded home entertainment center! First, for safety, recruit a friend to help move and stabilize the panel while unboxing and installing it. Your TV panel may lay horizontally or vertically for this process, depending on the model. It’s also important to not press too hard on the screen, and avoid removing protective padding until the end to prevent damage. All you need now are the parts from the box! Now, take off the stand mount cover, and set it to the side. Align the stand mount with the stand base, and slide the tabs forward into the notches. Secure the stand neck to the stand base with four of the screws. Next, slide the tabs into the slots to attach the stand assembly to the back of the panel. Fasten the remaining screws to secure the stand to the TV. You’re now ready to set up the TV, so move it into place with your friend’s help and connect the power cable to the back of the TV, but wait to plug it into a power outlet. First, hide away the cable by using the grooves and the cable holder. Hook up your gaming consoles and accessories, stereo equipment, or any other gear you may have, and then plug it in!
