If you see issues with the display on your Bespoke Family Hub fridge, such as lines, glitches, or intermittent picture problems, or if the display is unresponsive or completely black, then it may need replaced. However, there are some simple things to check first that could resolve the problem. Start by looking for any physical damage. If there isn’t any, try power cycling the display by turning it off for 2 minutes, and then turn it back on. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset. If the display is black, check the wire connections at the top of the right door and the connections located behind the display. Make sure they are all connected properly and clicked into place. If the issue still isn’t resolved, then you’ll need to replace the display. Be sure to use genuine Samsung parts and confirm that the part is compatible with your refrigerator model and type. To remove the damaged display, first unplug the fridge, and remove the three panel caps from the top of the Family Hub door panel. Next, attach a suction cup tool to the upper part of the display, pull firmly towards you to release it, and then lift up to fully remove it. Be sure that one hand is securely holding the bottom of the display. Now, disconnect the three connectors from the wire harnesses. To install the new display, first connect the all three connectors to the wire harnesses. Next, place the display back into position, making sure to firmly press all the way around the surface and corners to ensure it clips into place. Finally, replace the three top panel caps.
