How to replace the LED light in your refrigerator

You may need to replace the LED light if you notice that one is out or not lighting up automatically when opening the refrigerator door. Be sure to purchase and use a genuine Samsung replacement part for your fridge. To remove the old LED light, you’ll need an old credit card. Using the credit card, pry open the light cover by working the card under the edge of the cover. It may be a little tricky so just take your time. Once you’ve removed the light cover, disconnect the wire harness from the LED assembly. Next, release the two tabs holding the LED strip in place and remove it from the housing. To install the new LED light, first place the LED strip into the housing. Make sure it’s securely held in place by the tabs. Next, connect the LED assembly to the wire harness and then attach the cover back into place.
