Refrigerator Control Lock Issues

1:20

Samsung refrigerators feature a few different types of feature locks depending on the model: Child Lock, Dispenser Lock, and Control Lock. These exist to prevent certain functions from being turned on accidentally. Control Lock disables button presses on the main control panel until it is turned off, and on some models, automatically enables after one minute of panel inactivity. Child Lock and Dispenser Lock also restrict water and ice functions, so customers may experience these issues. No worries though - disabling these functions is easy. Typically, there will be small text printed on the control panel indicating that a button should be pressed and held for 3 seconds or so to toggle the lock. And on Family Hub models, locking functions will be inside the Fridge Manager app.
