How to perform a Powerwash to factory reset your Chromebook

0:25

To factory reset your Chromebook, use the Powerwash option. You may want to do this as a troubleshooting step to resolve any lag or issues with the device. It’s also a good idea to use Powerwash before selling or gifting your Chromebook so all of your personal information is removed beforehand. To completely erase the hard drive and factory reset the settings, click on Settings in the task bar, and then click on Advanced and scroll down to the reset settings section. Under Powerwash, click reset. For more on Powerwashing your Chromebook: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01110741/ https://youtu.be/89vuD7tL8cY
