How to configure or disable motion smoothing on your Samsung TV

Motion smoothing, also known as picture clarity or auto motion plus, can make your TV’s picture appear choppy and give it that odd, soap opera effect. You can configure these settings from your TV’s main settings menu or disable it entirely. First, press the home button on your remote to open Smart Hub. Next, scroll to and open your TV’s main settings menu. Select picture, expert settings and then picture clarity settings. From here you can customize these settings. Adjust blur reduction, judder reduction, enable and disable LED clear motion. To disable motion smoothing, select picture clarity.
