Storing your Samsung refrigerator in a garage or other outside environment

2:54

Samsung refrigerators are designed to work well in outside environments, like a garage. However, it may work a bit differently in extreme environments. In colder rooms, the condenser fan will stop operating. If it becomes too cold, your refrigerator can struggle. It’s important to keep your fridge in an area that is 55 degrees Fahrenheit or above. In hot environments, your refrigerator may have cooling issues as it won’t be able to hold a low temperature. If your fridge is in an area that has higher humidity levels, condensation can form on the doors seals. Even though Samsung refrigerators have heating elements in place to help with this, you still need to keep an eye out and make sure the doors seals remain dry. It’s also important to never use Energy Saver mode in humid environments. Enabling Energy Saver will turn off these heating elements, and the extra moisture could cause mold or other issues.
