QLED vs. OLED

2:02

It can be tough to understand the differences between QLED and OLED when selecting a TV to purchase! Let's go over the differences. First, OLED stands for Organic Light Emitting Diode, which emit their own light, and QLED stands for Quantom Dot Emitting Diode, which utilizes LCD technology to display the LED lighting through colored filters. Because of this tech, OLED TVs can be lighter and thinner than QLED TVs. With OLED TVs, contrast is typically better with deeper blacks, and a wider viewing angle. QLED TVs are typically brighter with vibrant colors, and less susceptible to picture burn-in. They are also typically less expensive. Both are great choices for a home!
